As a new addition to the ダンジオーラシステム roof coating system, which received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award, the roof hardener “ダンジオーラE下塗 Roof Hardener for Roofs” will be officially launched, with a launch date of 28 September 2026.
Amid continuing extreme heat and rising demand for heat-reflective roof renovations, development of this product was driven by on-site demand for the ダンジオーラシステム roof coating system, which combines corrosion protection that requires no surface preparation and performs well in salt-damage environments with heat-reflective functionality. This will substantially reduce surface preparation, such as rust removal, while allowing heat-reflective paint to be applied as a topcoat.
Key product features include shorter surface preparation processes, reducing the time spent working at height in direct sunlight and contributing to shorter construction periods. The product also provides high-performance heavy-duty corrosion protection to stabilise rust caused by years of inadequate maintenance, and supports white as a roof primer colour, although it was traditionally considered unsuitable for this application. Using a white primer maximises the reflectivity of the heat-reflective topcoat.
