シーイーシー shares rebounded sharply after the company announced an upward revision to its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending January 2027 late last week. First-half results rose substantially year on year, easing concerns about a slowdown in the second half.
The new full-year operating profit forecast is ¥8.32 billion, up from the previous forecast of ¥7.75 billion. Earnings growth for the full fiscal year is expected to be approximately 13.4%.
The first-half forecast was left unchanged from the previous forecast. Strong performance in projects for government agencies was the main factor behind the expected upside in the second half.
