At this year's Multiculturalism Day celebration, colleagues from SCSEA gathered under the theme "Passport to Cultures," and a special video was shown featuring the fictional airline Multiculturalism Airlines travelling to destinations around the world. The ceremony began with opening remarks by SCSEA CEO Søren Ravn, and the venue came alive with playful presentations.
A game called Culture Rush was held, in which participants competed on their knowledge of different cultures by introducing facts about their own cultures while other teams tried to guess what they represented. The final bonus question featured a photograph from Søren's wedding, bringing the session to a close with a presentation that invited participants to interpret its cultural elements.
Food stalls offered Malaysian Indian-style tea and coffee, Malaysian cuisine, soy milk and douhua, while the buffet featured a variety of dishes and drinks. Participants received plush toys symbolising DE&I, conveying a message of getting to know one another and respecting differences.
