Startup JAPAN 2026 [Winter], one of Japan’s largest startup exhibitions, will be held in person at Ariake GYM-EX on 16 and 17 December. The event is expected to feature 450 exhibitors and attract approximately 13,000 visitors, with 54 sessions scheduled. Speakers include Hirose Fumiyoshi (廣瀬文慎) of ZOZO and Kazuhiko (和彦) of Mizuho Financial Group.
A key feature of the event is that visitors can hold business discussions directly while touring exhibitors’ booths, and can also arrange appointments in advance using the visit-request feature. Digital business-card exchanges using Eight will be the norm, eliminating the need for paper business cards. Exhibitors are expected to have numerous opportunities to engage directly with decision-makers at major companies.
The Franchise Business Utilization & Practice Exhibition 2026 [Winter] will also be held concurrently, with 20 companies exhibiting in total. It will provide business discussion opportunities for business owners seeking to diversify their operations by using proven business models.
