Boomi and JSOL have entered into an OEM agreement to integrate Boomi's data integration technology into JSOL's EDI services, strengthening data connectivity among core business systems, business SaaS applications, and cloud services. The companies aim to build a next-generation data integration platform to support the use of AI agents.
Boomi announced that it had entered into an OEM agreement with JSOL. Under the agreement, JSOL will incorporate Boomi's technology into its EDI services, enabling more flexible and rapid integration with core business systems, including ERP and CRM systems, as well as business SaaS applications and cloud services. This is expected to improve the practical utility of data connectivity between companies and support the development of a new data integration platform for the use of AI agents.
Against a backdrop of growing adoption of business SaaS applications, including ERP and CRM systems, demand is increasing for the cross-system integration of distributed systems and data. The importance of platforms that connect EDI with core business systems is also growing. The expanding use of generative AI is further driving the development of data integration platforms.
The collaboration will combine Boomi's no-code/low-code environment with JSOL's expertise in operating EDI services, strengthening their ability to address integration needs centered on transaction data. Boomi will draw on data integration technology provided to more than 30,000 companies worldwide, while JSOL will leverage its track record in EDI services.
Looking ahead, JSOL plans to use Boomi technology to validate and develop flexible connections between EDI and various business systems, with the aim of providing one-stop support for data integration, including connections with business partners in Japan and overseas. The companies also envision the possibility of developing the platform into infrastructure that supports the use of AI and data analysis.
