Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co.,Ltd. disclosed plans to introduce credit card fare payment on approximately 1,300 buses across all routes in the Fukuoka metropolitan area by fiscal 2028. Payment options other than cash will be expanded, and greater convenience for passengers is expected.
On the 16th, Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co.,Ltd. announced plans to switch fare payment on all bus routes in the Fukuoka metropolitan area to credit card fare payment.
The rollout will cover approximately 1,300 buses operating in the Fukuoka metropolitan area and is expected to be completed by fiscal 2028.
