デジタルガレージ has launched a new service that enables card payments in the construction industry by settling business partners’ invoices by card, helping improve cash-flow flexibility and comply with new legislation.
The background includes the Act on the Proper Transaction of Specified Entrusted Businesses, which will take effect in 2026, as well as cash-flow challenges in the construction industry. デジタルガレージ is preparing to offer the industry a new payment method to improve cash flow.
The new service provides DGFT invoice card payments to WIREBASE users. デジタルガレージ accepts card payments and arranges transfers to business partners’ bank accounts. The service supports a broad range of domestic card brands, including Diners Club, and is available without prior screening. Fees are 3% of the requested transfer amount, or 4% for Diners Club.
This effectively extends the payment due date until the card debit date, easing temporary cash shortages caused by higher material costs and compliance with new legislation. Going forward, the company plans to strengthen the integration of AI and payments and accelerate back-office digital transformation, with the goal of increasing payment processing volume to approximately ¥15 trillion by the fiscal year ending March 2028.
