The naming-rights agreement is intended to attract talent from Shizuoka to Shizuoka, leveraging the research and development base in Fukuroi City, where Ecopa is located. MinebeaMitsumi Chairman Kainuma Yoshihisa (貝沼 由久) said the company aims to build a concentration of engineers capable of responding to a new era through product development from Shizuoka. Shizuoka Governor Suzuki expressed hope for the formation of a win-win relationship.
On the 13th, it was also announced that Fuji Bussan had acquired the naming rights to Hamamatsu City's Hamanako Garden Park, prompting a series of reports on naming-rights developments in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Attention will now focus on when the naming rights will take effect and how the specific name to be used will be communicated.
