BeeCruise has launched the Purchase-Based Sales Partner Program on AniMeEon to reduce inventory risk for anime merchandise sold overseas. The program enables domestic businesses to supply products to overseas markets simply by delivering them to a warehouse in Japan.
BeeCruise announced the launch of the Purchase-Based Sales Partner Program on AniMeEon, an e-commerce platform specialising in anime merchandise for overseas markets. The program eliminates the inventory and operational risks involved in selling domestic businesses’ anime merchandise overseas. Participating businesses can expand into overseas markets simply by delivering their products to a designated warehouse in Japan.
The new program is based on time-limited pre-order-based consignment sales. After products available for overseas sales are listed online, an ordering period of several weeks to around one month is set, after which a consolidated order is placed and delivery is requested. This eliminates the need for large advance deliveries and the burden of handling frequent individual shipments, reducing inventory risk and distribution costs.
The program supports both made-to-order and in-stock products and can be used to expand overseas sales channels, including taking overseas orders in parallel with domestic sales and selling domestic event merchandise online to overseas customers. Sales regions can also be specified for each product, enabling overseas expansion that protects rights while keeping domestic logistics costs and operational resources under control.
AniMeEon handles international shipping, customs clearance, multilingual customer support and payments on an integrated basis. Domestic businesses only need to deliver products to a designated warehouse in Japan, enabling them to deliver products to fans worldwide. Measures to provide overseas fans with a consistent user experience in Japan and overseas are also expected to be rolled out.
