NTT WEST, INC. and NTT SmartConnect Corporation will launch a managed service providing centralized support from the implementation of a zero-trust environment through operations and monitoring. The service is intended for companies, local governments and other organizations adopting zero trust.
This news concerns the announcement by NTT WEST, INC. and NTT SmartConnect Corporation that they will launch, from 29 October 2026, a managed service providing one-stop support from the procurement and deployment of a zero-trust security environment through post-implementation operations and monitoring. The service is intended to reduce the operational burden on the information systems departments of companies and local governments, against a backdrop of expanding cloud use and increasingly diverse work styles.
The service combines Zscaler™ access controls with identity management, endpoint security, device management and other functions, providing one-stop support covering procurement, deployment, outsourced operations, security monitoring and help desk services. This is intended to reduce the burden of separately designing, procuring and operating multiple functions.
Under the division of responsibilities, NTT WEST, INC. will provide managed services covering requirements definition, design, deployment and operations, while NTT SmartConnect Corporation will provide Zscaler and maintain and operate the cloud infrastructure. The NTT WEST Group will apply its practical expertise from operating its own environment to customer environments.
Fees will be quoted individually depending on the operating environment and configuration, and the service launch date is 29 October 2026. Going forward, the companies plan to support the implementation of zero-trust environments by expanding their partners and broadening the areas covered.
