The number of companies using STANDAGE’s “おまかせ貿易” overseas sales-channel development outsourcing package surpassed 500. Support for small and medium-sized manufacturers expanding overseas is accelerating amid the weak yen and shrinking domestic demand.
STANDAGE announced that the number of companies using its “おまかせ貿易” overseas sales-channel development outsourcing package for small and medium-sized businesses surpassed 500 as of September 2026. The company cited the contraction in domestic demand and the impact of the weak yen as factors behind the increasing activity aimed at promoting overseas expansion.
The service provides end-to-end support, covering overseas market research, exhibition participation, business negotiations, order placement and receipt, preparation of customs documents, logistics arrangements and payment collection. Its key features include visibility and efficiency gains through the use of a trade cloud platform, along with a support structure drawing on the expertise of former trading company professionals. Users span a broad range of industries, including food, machinery, infrastructure products, health foods and cosmetics.
STANDAGE stated that it aims to increase the number of companies using the service to 1,000 by the end of February 2029 and will work to further strengthen its support structure. Attention is expected to remain focused on developments including the use of various programs supporting overseas expansion and market trends.
