At Cosmoprof Asia 2026, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will establish a Japan Pavilion. A total of 29 Japanese companies will exhibit, including 20 first-time exhibitors, with the aim of developing sales channels, primarily in Asian markets. A talk session themed around J-Beauty is also scheduled to be held at COSMOTALKS during the event.
Cosmoprof Asia 2026 will be held in China and Hong Kong from the 11th to the 13th, and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will establish a Japan Pavilion. This year, 29 Japanese companies will exhibit, with their displays expected to focus primarily on skincare, makeup and beauty equipment.
At the previous event in 2025, more than 2,600 companies exhibited and over 60,000 visitors attended. Buyers from the Middle East, Europe and North America, as well as Asia, also visited the event, which has been regarded as an opportunity to develop overseas markets. The Hong Kong market is expected to see growing demand for functional skincare and wellness-oriented products, as well as growth in the makeup and men's beauty markets.
JETRO has supported participation in the trade show since 2011. The products of the 29 companies exhibiting this time will consist mainly of cosmetics and beauty equipment, and 20 of the companies will be first-time exhibitors. JETRO will support new market entry and sales-channel development in overseas markets, particularly in Asia, and promote J-Beauty overseas.
During the event, a talk session themed around J-Beauty is scheduled as part of COSMOTALKS, the organizer's industry program. Information will be disseminated to raise interest in and promote understanding of Japan's cosmetics industry.
