Habitto will rebrand as “Savings Counter by Habitto” and officially launch its new product, “Savings Max!”, on the same day. It marks the start of a new approach to saving and wealth building for the age of inflation.
On 8 September 2026, Habitto rebranded Savings Counter under its new brand, strengthening its position as Japan’s first savings specialist. The new brand is built around the concept of “Savings 2.0,” designed for the age of inflation, and sets out to offer options tailored to each individual rather than relying solely on bank deposits.
On the same day, it officially launched “Savings Max!”, a new product representing a third form of savings. The product is available through the Habitto app and is designed to target stable returns in yen.
Savings Max! has three key features: it sets a target return above that of bank deposits, targets the BOJ policy rate plus 1.00%, and diversifies investments into short-term loans to overseas companies while using currency hedging to limit the impact of daily market movements. The minimum purchase amount is ¥500, and redemption normally takes approximately 2 months.
The plan has delivered positive returns for the past 3 consecutive months. Its actual return for the most recent 1 month was 2.3% annualized, exceeding the target return.
