Santen Pharmaceutical announced that it would raise the shipment prices and manufacturers' suggested retail prices for 18 OTC drug products. The increases will apply to shipments made on or after 1 January 2027, covering 18 products.
The increases are attributed to continued rises in raw material and packaging material prices, as well as higher costs for energy, logistics and other items. Manufacturers' suggested retail prices are effectively reference prices, and actual retail prices are set by individual retailers.
The 18 affected products include various Well Wash Eye A products, Soft Santear, Soft Santear Hitomi Stretch, the Sante FX series, the Sante Beautier series, the Sante 40 series, the Sante Do series and Sante PC.
The specific increases will range from 5.7% to 33.3% relative to current prices.
