Kawasaki Kisen group port transportation operator ダイトーコーポレーション adopted LaKeel Online Media Service as part of its employee training and will begin operating the service in October 2026.
To strengthen employee safety training, ダイトーコーポレーション adopted the video-based education service LaKeel Online Media Service and will begin full-scale use in October 2026. Its on-site operations span a wide range of activities, including port terminals and steel handling, making more comprehensive accident-prevention training an issue.
Training had traditionally centred on written materials and on-site instruction. Challenges included the fading over time of employees' understanding of past accidents and an unclear awareness of countermeasures. LaKeel is designed to use animation to promote understanding of complex underlying causes and is expected to improve training effectiveness.
The reasons cited for adopting the service included its extensive library of occupational safety video content, the ease of understanding provided by animation and the short viewing time of approximately 3 minutes per video. Going forward, the company expects to use the service for grouping employees in line with on-site training plans and for KYT activities.
ラキール also expects to expand content for the port transportation industry and has indicated that it will promote use of the service across the company, centred on company-wide safety training.
