Razer has announced Base Station V3 Chroma, a smart headset stand that integrates headset detection, custom profile integration and Chroma lighting. Its USB ports also allow peripherals to be connected, delivering an integrated lighting and audio experience.
Razer has announced its new Base Station V3 Chroma. When you lift your headset, it automatically applies a custom profile in Razer Synapse, allowing you to switch Chroma lighting, audio settings, game launches and macros all at once. It can be used with any headset compatible with Razer Synapse.
The product integrates with the Chroma ecosystem to provide a consistent lighting experience across peripherals and the stand. It features a vertical 12-zone RGB light strip and creates an immersive battle station with lighting effects in 16.8 million colors. Its audio features also support virtual 7.1-channel surround sound.
For connectivity, it has 2 USB 3.1 ports for connecting a headset dongle or other devices. It also helps organize cables on the desk, and when you return the headset to the stand, all settings automatically revert to their defaults.
The price in Japan is ¥14,480, including tax, and the product is scheduled to launch in Japan on 4 September. It is expected to be sold through the official Razer website and retailers worldwide.
