On 20 August, タカキュー held an exhibition of its autumn/winter collection at its Shinjuku flagship store, showcasing new products centered on “着パ,” short for “wearing performance.” The concept is defined by three elements: appearance, time savings and versatility. The company plans to offer coordinated outfits made from lightweight, wrinkle-resistant materials with windproofing and heat-retention properties, combining lightness with a polished look in autumn and winter.
EC sales currently account for approximately 10%, and the company outlined plans to expand the purchasing journey from in-store customer service to EC payment and home delivery, integrating inventory management with the purchasing process. It also plans to improve its EC site production system by automating product-image processing and colour correction with AI, thereby speeding up preparation for publication. In September, it plans to revamp the “着パ” landing page with a layout designed to communicate intuitively the appeal of outfit versatility, time efficiency and cost performance.
