SmallRig has launched a dedicated modular case for the Hasselblad X2D II 100C / X2D 100C. It features a design intended for on-location shooting, including an aluminum-alloy body, integrated silicone pads, 360° protection and a flip-open side door.
The modular case announced by SmallRig is compatible with the Hasselblad X2D II 100C and X2D 100C. The product is a modular case for these models, priced at ¥44,790 including tax. It comes in Tundra Green, and details of the compatible models and price have been disclosed.
The case uses an aluminum-alloy body with integrated silicone pads and incorporates a 360° silicone cradle inside. It also features a screen-protector mechanism to protect the display from scratches, combining impact absorption with a secure grip, according to the company.
The grip is equipped with TPE soft-rubber handles, and the design supports tripod use and POV shooting. The flip-open side door provides access to the battery and memory card without removing the case, a feature SmallRig highlights.
An Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release plate is integrated into the base. The case also includes an AirTag slot and elements that pay homage to the history of lunar photography, including an engraved hot-shoe design.
