PPI Jepang and キャリアダイバーシティ announced that they will hold “Japan Career Day 2026,” an online employment event for Indonesian international students and job seekers aiming to work in Japan, on 20 September. The event will be held via Zoom and offer support including guidance on writing résumés and entry sheets, job hunting in Japanese, and networking with senior employees. The event is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan, JASSO and PROMIA.
There are many Indonesian international students and other students in Japan, and PPI Jepang uses its nationwide student network to support the careers of people seeking employment in Japan. This initiative aims to create opportunities through an event, rather than simply introducing job openings, with the goal of strengthening participants’ ability to seek employment in Japan.
Japan Career Day 2026 will be held online via Zoom on Sunday, 20 September 2026, for international students, graduates and job seekers. Participation is free for international students, while companies will be charged a fee, and approximately 300 participants are expected. The event is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan, JASSO and PROMIA.
Features of “Japan Career Day 2026” include introductions to job opportunities in Japan, résumé and entry-sheet workshops, support for job hunting in Japanese, networking in the Senior Lounge, advice from corporate recruitment personnel, Japanese-language courses for job hunting in Japan, and a framework for connecting participants with career support after the event. These services will be provided in cooperation with KapanJepan.
The event is organized by PPI Jepang and キャリアダイバーシティ株式会社. Through KapanJepan, the organizers provide job introductions, résumé reviews, support for job hunting in Japanese and operation of a talent database. The event aims to combine the networks and expertise of both organizations to expand employment opportunities for Indonesian talent at Japanese companies.
