ACG placed a new order with Airbus for 75 A320neo family aircraft, with deliveries scheduled from 2032 to 2035. The order brings ACG's cumulative orders to 190 aircraft.
Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a consolidated subsidiary of Tokyo Century Corporation, announced that it had placed a new order with Airbus for 75 A320neo series aircraft and signed a contract. The total value based on catalog prices is approximately ¥1.856 trillion.
Deliveries are scheduled from 2032 to 2035. The additional order reflects ACG's assessment that demand for narrowbody aircraft on short- and medium-haul routes will increase, against a backdrop of strong passenger demand and demand to replace aircraft with next-generation models.
ACG's CEO said that the strategy of focusing on narrowbody aircraft equipped with the latest technologies would support the "largest order in history." An Airbus executive welcomed the strengthening of the long-term partnership.
The A320neo family is characterized by improved economics and environmental performance compared with previous-generation aircraft, including longer range, lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and reduced noise.
