The 3-company group including the long-established confectionery shop 千鳥屋本家 is expected to head for bankruptcy following the discontinuation of its civil rehabilitation proceedings. It has been reported that Fukuoka District Court decided to discontinue the proceedings.
The 3 companies in the 千鳥屋本家 Group, including 千鳥屋本家 (Iizuka City), are said to have filed for civil rehabilitation proceedings on 27 February 2023.
On 13 October, the group was reportedly notified by Fukuoka District Court of its decision to discontinue the rehabilitation proceedings, and developments concerning preservation proceedings have been reported.
