DICプラスチック will provide IZANO2 folding helmets for Hashirajima Training 2026. The camping-style disaster response training is scheduled to take place on Hashirajima, Yamaguchi Prefecture, in September.
The Japan Drone Business Support Association (DBA) will hold Hashirajima Training 2026 on Hashirajima in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, with DICプラスチック株式会社 set to provide IZANO2 folding helmets as a sponsor. DPA and MASC will also participate as supporting organisations, helping publicise and operate the training. Participants will undergo 3 days of camping-style training and receive equipment intended to help ensure safety in the field.
Hashirajima Training is a 2-night, 3-day camping programme. DAY1 covers the delivery of equipment and the setup of participants’ own power and communications systems. On DAY2, 3 teams will carry out 3 missions, including night flights and infrared operations. DAY3 will feature an integrated exercise followed by a demonstration of the dismantling and removal of equipment. The training will use an outlying island as its operational setting and is scheduled to cover 4 areas: aerial photography, surveying, inspection and aerial transport. Participants will generally sleep in tents and are expected to bring items such as sleeping bags.
Sponsoring organisations include DICプラスチック株式会社, which will provide the helmets; the Drone Pilot Association (DPA); and MASC, which will publicise the event to its members and provide the venue. The event outline states that the training will run from 15 to 17 September 2026 on Hashirajima, with capacity for 9 people (3 teams of 3), a fee of ¥550,000 per person or ¥1.1 million for a 3-person team, and a 1-day participation fee of ¥110,000 per person. The application deadline is 31 August.
