ANRITSU CORPORATION’s head office cafeteria underwent a review of the menus it provides and obtained the highest three-star rating under the Smart Meal certification system. The certification period runs from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2028.
In the latest renewal review, the cafeteria was recognized for achieving 10 optional criteria in addition to the mandatory criteria. ANRITSU CORPORATION first obtained two-star certification in 2024, and its ongoing efforts in health-focused management and creating a healthy food environment are said to have contributed to the higher rating.
The head office cafeteria continues to emphasize nutritional balance among staple foods, main dishes and side dishes, as well as measures to encourage vegetable consumption and reduce salt intake. The introduction of nutrition labeling and a meal subsidy system are among the measures assessed. Smart Meal certification is intended to promote healthy meals and healthy food environments, and is operated with reference to guidelines from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
