NTTインテグレーション has launched a trial service to validate AI inference and RAG using IBM Spyre hardware. Validation will be conducted in an environment at the Yokohama data center, enabling customers to assess suitability and operability before deployment.
On 30 October, NTTインテグレーション launched the Spyre Trial Service, a validation service using the IBM Spyre AI accelerator. The service uses a physical environment to validate the responsiveness of AI inference and whether RAG is suitable for business operations before production deployment. Validation will be conducted through a trial environment installed at the Yokohama data center. Customer companies will connect via the internet or a private network and conduct evaluations according to predefined validation scenarios and evaluation criteria. Validation targets include document search and knowledge search, such as searches of documents and operating procedures, as well as support for handling inquiries.
Validation can cover document and knowledge searches involving internal regulations and design materials, as well as inquiry-handling support using inquiry histories and FAQs. Response performance and operability can also be assessed based on the expected number of users, data volume and business scenarios. NTTインテグレーション will oversee monitoring of the validation platform, incident response, maintenance, management of the connection environment and environment resets. It also supports validation involving integration with business data on IBM i and AIX.
For production deployment, the company will propose data integration methods, security measures, platform configurations and operating methods. Based on the concept of Bring AI to the Data, which uses AI near the data without moving the data externally, it will support the design and construction of environments tailored to each customer's policies and operating requirements.
Customer companies can use an AI inference platform, including IBM Spyre, without making a new monthly purchase. NTTインテグレーション will provide the validation platform and network connection environment, while customers will prepare the business scenarios, evaluation criteria, validation data and connection terminals. The service is intended for validation and does not support commercial use, production operations or ongoing processing.
