Nihon Yamamura Glass Co.,Ltd. will jointly exhibit a display booth with the Hyogo Prefectural Environmental Affairs Department, focusing on the recycling of plastic bottle caps. The event will be held over 2 days, 17 and 18 October 2026, at Senzhiro in Akashi Park, where examples of circular resource use will be presented to visitors.
The RIN plastic recycling project promoted by the company has established a process for recycling used caps into new caps and other products. This will be the second consecutive year of the company’s participation. In addition to the displays, visitors will be able to experience circular resource use through “Circular Gacha Model-L,” a capsule toy machine operated with caps.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of the sorting, collection and recycling of plastic bottle caps, help visitors understand that caps can circulate as useful resources, and encourage them to apply this understanding to their everyday actions. Admission to the event is free, and the event is scheduled to proceed in case of rain.
Inquiries should be directed to the Earth Care Promotion Group of Nihon Yamamura Glass Co.,Ltd.’s Plastics Company, which will provide information about the exhibits and the RIN initiative. The company’s official website and Hyogo Prefecture’s information page can also be consulted.
