Comture has announced a business partnership with the AI platform Krugle and will step up its efforts to visualize aging legacy systems and provide ongoing support using AI. To realize the Data & AI FIRST initiative set out in its medium-term management plan, Comture will establish a framework for continued support, from developing data platforms through implementing AI.
Comture announced on 14 August 2026 that it had entered into a business partnership with Krugle, which provides the AI platform Krugle. The partnership is intended to modernize aging legacy systems at Japanese companies and provide ongoing, hands-on support for customers' business transformation using AI.
Krugle offers source-code syntax analysis, semantic search based on meaning, and Krugle Biblio, which converts unstructured data into RAG-ready data. Even for older systems whose design documents have become scattered, its AI can analyze code and related documentation across sources to enhance impact assessments and visualization of specifications. Its enterprise offerings also feature Krugle Squad and the use of lightweight LLMs.
In its medium-term management plan covering the fiscal years ending March 2027 through March 2029, Comture identified Data & AI FIRST as a key theme and outlined plans to build a customer-success-oriented framework that provides continued support, from understanding customers' operations through maintenance and operations and developing data platforms to implementing AI.
The two companies are also considering strengthening their relationship, including through a capital tie-up, and intend to jointly develop industry-specific assets and present new approaches to systems integration for the AI era.
