Espool Plus, a subsidiary of the Espool Group, has launched the new employment model “わーくはぴねす C’Raft (クラフト),” which involves confectionery production and coffee production. Following its initial launch in Nagoya, nationwide rollout is scheduled to begin in March 2027.
Espool Plus announced the new employment model “わーくはぴねす C’Raft (クラフト),” under which people with disabilities engage in confectionery production and coffee production. Operations will use teams comprising 3 people with disabilities and 1 support staff member in fully air-conditioned indoor facilities designed with hygiene and safety in mind.
In response to the increase in the statutory employment rate, the model is intended not only to address requirements associated with company-size thresholds, but also to develop work areas that leverage the characteristics of people with disabilities and promote long-term retention in the workplace. Through the products manufactured and supplied as corporate novelties, the parties involved aim to enhance corporate value. Operations are scheduled to begin at the second Nagoya site in December 2026, followed by nationwide rollout in March 2027.
