Panasonic Housing Solutions has developed a new-build version of its cloud-based business support system “Sumai Base (Housing Base)” and will expand the system into the new-construction field, following its initial rollout in the remodeling sector.
Sumai Base is provided as a cloud-based business support system that centralizes multiple tools and analog information, integrating data across 3 areas: customer acquisition, sales and management. It was developed by moving the existing system to the cloud in June 2026 and was initially launched for the remodeling sector. The system has now been enhanced for use in the new-construction field.
The new-build version includes functions that quantify sales processes and progress specific to new construction, as well as backlog rates and lost-deal rates. It supports the standardization of data-driven management and sales activities that do not depend on individual experience or intuition.
As before, the system is provided to member organizations, but functions have been added to address characteristics of the new-construction field, including longer sales cycles and more complex processes. This is expected to support operations that take into account factors specific to new construction, such as land searches and financing plans.
The latest update expands on operational know-how from the existing remodeling field and aims to facilitate long-term customer management and the conversion of management decisions into data. Depending on future developments, it could help member organizations improve operational efficiency and track sales performance.
