Chubu Electric Power decided to change the responsibilities of its executive officers and other personnel effective 1 November. It will appoint a dedicated general manager for the new position and advance organizational reform following the establishment of the Organizational Culture Reform Promotion Department.

In summary, the role assigned to Ota Takushi (太田卓志) will be Executive Officer and General Manager of the Corporate Strategy Headquarters, while the role assigned to Yokota Dai (横田大) will be General Manager of the Organizational Culture Reform Promotion Department. The current positions and responsibilities are as shown in the table.
As background to the changes, the company states that responsibilities will be reviewed by appointing a dedicated general manager to further advance reform of the organizational climate and corporate culture across the group, following the establishment of the Organizational Culture Reform Promotion Department on 1 October.
