レシップ has begun the full-scale rollout of MoveLe, a solutions brand for bus operators. The brand integrates multiple services that use field data and longstanding expertise to help address operational challenges, including optimising operations planning and improving back-office efficiency.
レシップ, a consolidated subsidiary of レシップホールディングス, announced that it would begin the full-scale rollout of MoveLe, which it has been validating and introducing in stages. MoveLe is a solutions brand that addresses a range of challenges in the bus business, including operations planning, timetable planning, route optimisation and the digitisation of subsidy application-related operations.
MoveLe combines data from onboard equipment, including fareboxes and IC cards, with more than 70 years of field expertise. It supports everything from reducing the burden of day-to-day operations to making data-driven decisions on operations planning and management. Rather than limiting implementation to a standalone investment, the company is establishing a framework for providing combinations of services tailored to operators' on-site challenges.
The solutions are built around 3 pillars. 1 is an operations optimisation support system that manages sales and boarding and alighting data in the cloud and supports the comparison and evaluation of route restructuring plans. 2 is a timetable planning system that uses demand and revenue data to create timetables that take crew working conditions into account. 3 is DX for subsidy application operations, which automatically aggregates transport performance data and outputs it in the required application format.
As an implementation example, じょうてつ introduced the MoveLe system from September 2020. The workload involved in aggregation tasks at each depot was reduced to approximately one-fifth of the previous level, and the system is being used for data-driven management decisions.
Going forward, the company plans to expand MoveLe's functionality and aims to roll out at least 2 new solutions each year. It plans to extend the offering into areas supporting bus business operations, including vehicle management, operations planning and crew support.
