MARUWA raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027, increasing projected net sales from the previous forecast of ¥93.3 billion to ¥101.5 billion and operating profit from ¥33.7 billion to ¥38.3 billion. Net profit is also expected to reach ¥26.0 billion, an increase of approximately 43% from the previous fiscal year. The company said the revised figures reflect growing demand for next-generation high-speed communications and contributions from differentiated products for new-energy vehicles.
The interim results for the six months ended September, announced at the same time, showed net sales of ¥46.921 billion, operating profit of ¥17.650 billion and net profit of ¥12.119 billion, all sharply higher year on year. The interim results are positioned as a factor behind the upward revision.
The company said conditions are expected to make it easier to capture demand for next-generation high-speed communications in its core ceramic components business. It also said the resilience of the general-purpose memory market and the expansion of differentiated products for new-energy vehicles will support increased production from the second half onward.
