The NEO series is based on vehicle models introduced from 1970 onward. All models use a 1/64 scale, with an emphasis on accurate reproduction of details. The new model is based on a King Cab with four round headlights arranged in a square pattern.
The North American specification is left-hand drive and includes a camper shell fitted to the bed that can be removed. The Japan specification is right-hand drive and reproduces the standard configuration. These differences allow the standard and camper-shell combinations and the specification variations to be compared.
