Panasonic Connect Group has developed Robo Sync for Mobility, a new service that centrally controls AMRs from multiple manufacturers on the same platform, with service launch scheduled for this autumn.
Panasonic Connect Group announced Robo Sync for Mobility as a new service for its Robo Sync robot control platform. The service provides control of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material transport on a monthly subscription basis, with launch scheduled for this autumn. AMRs from multiple manufacturers can be controlled on the same platform, which also enables route setting and management of operating status and task histories. Elevator integration is available as an option.
The service supports 4 domestic and overseas manufacturers, including Preferred Robotics and Pudu Robotics, and the company plans to expand this number going forward. The new service emphasizes ease of operation without requiring specialized knowledge of individual equipment.
