Following Huawei’s domestic announcement, the WATCH GT 7/GT 7 Pro launched in Japan, while Plaud’s new AI recorder, Plaud One, and Anker Soundcore Q31i’s new headphones were unveiled on the same day. The report outlines the key features and launch dates of each product.
Huawei first announced the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 and GT 7 Pro at an event in Japan. The Pro model uses a titanium-alloy case and sapphire glass and includes an ECG function. Battery life is up to 21 days under typical use, with the Pro priced at ¥54,780 and the GT 7, in both 46mm and 41mm sizes, starting at ¥41,580. Both models are scheduled to launch on 29 October. Features include elevation-adjusted distance displays for golf, an indoor mode for skiing and a green view using the Jog Grid. Only the Pro model has obtained Japanese medical-device approval for its ECG function.
Plaud then announced Plaud One, an AI voice recorder. It comes with an integrated charging case and wireless earbuds, and the case includes an eSIM, enabling 4G LTE in more than 80 countries and regions, including Japan. Priced at ¥44,000, it will launch in limited quantities by the end of the year. Pre-registration comes with credits, and recordings can be transcribed and summarised through integration with the AI agent built into the case. Plaud also announced the Plaud Note Pro Flow Edition as a separate sub-device.
Finally, Anker launched the established Soundcore Q31i. It features LDAC, Bluetooth 6.0, Ultra Noise Cancelling 3.0 and 40mm dual-layer diaphragms, with up to 80 hours of playback with noise cancelling off and 50 hours with it on. A 10-minute charge provides 10 hours of playback. The price is ¥12,990, with black, white and pink colour options, and the product launched on 21 October.
