The site covers approximately 80,130 square metres, and the operating period is set at 50 years.
The project is located in An Khe District, Gia Lai Province. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q1 2027, with completion and the start of operations planned for Q3 2028. Environmental protection requirements imposed on the investor include renovating and strengthening exhaust-gas and wastewater treatment facilities around the site, submitting an application for an environmental permit and preparing an accident response plan. After the plant begins operations, the investor will also be required to contribute to the local community by supporting regional transport and welfare and giving priority to local employment.
The province said it would continue to supervise and support the project in cooperation with the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with current regulations. The provincial tax department will monitor fulfilment of budget payment obligations arising from business activities.
