TSE Growth Market 250 Index Futures are expected to rebound today, with prices likely to remain firm from the morning session amid gains in U.S. stocks and movements in night trading. As domestic-demand stocks come back into focus, buying may continue with the five-day moving average providing support.
In the U.S. market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up $517.80 from the previous day at $53,277.01, while the Nasdaq gained 113.29 points to close at 26,180.46. Both indexes rose after the open on favorable retail earnings and economic data. In the Middle East, markets welcomed the Iranian president's opposition to calls for continued fighting and his appeal for an end to the war, and prices continued to rise.
Against this backdrop, TSE Growth Market 250 Index Futures in night trading ended at 772 points, up 9 points from the previous business day's daytime close. The upside target is expected to be 785 points, while the downside target is seen at 765 points.
In today's domestic futures market, domestic-demand stocks are expected to come back into focus. While the Nikkei Stock Average is showing stronger signs of correction, TSE Growth Market 250 Index Futures are expected to gain further momentum. Buying is expected to remain dominant with the five-day moving average as support. The remaining distance to the year-to-date high of 816 points, recorded on 27 May, is also cited as a supporting factor.
