The company has begun offering DATA eBASE, which combines rich product detail data with purchase POS data. The new service is designed to advance food manufacturers' use of data toward a data-driven approach.
eBASE Co.,Ltd. announced that it will begin offering DATA eBASE, a new service that integrates its rich product detail data and purchase POS data, available either separately or as a package. The rich product detail database contains approximately 10 million records, including approximately 700,000 in the food category. The purchase POS data covers 1,500 stores nationwide, and the data is linked using JAN codes and other identifiers to provide data-driven marketing support that helps explain "why products sold."
DATA eBASE consists of two services, Catalog and POS. Catalog provides rich product detail data, while POS provides purchase data. Linking the two datasets using JAN codes and other identifiers enables analysis combining product specifications with purchase results.
Implementation plans include Catalog and POS offered separately or as a package. Catalog starts at ¥80,000 per month, and POS starts at ¥100,000 per month. Three plans are available: Standard for internal corporate use, Pro for integration into third-party services, and Enterprise for large-scale use, allowing customers to choose according to their needs.
The service is scheduled to become available in October 2026. Going forward, the company plans to support broad marketing DX by expanding the scope of its data offerings, strengthening integration with AI-based options, and providing the services jointly with KSP-SP社. It will also promote advanced analysis of product microdata and POS data based on related patents held by the company.
