Seven-Eleven’s “Satsumaimocchi with Banana Custard” will launch at selected stores from 5 November and has become a topic of discussion. Some comments say its green, round appearance recalls a popular dessert from a famous theme park. The price is ¥300.24 including tax, with a gradual regional rollout planned.
Seven-Eleven’s new “Satsumaimocchi with Banana Custard” is scheduled to launch at selected stores from 5 November in Hokkaido, Nagano, Hokuriku, Gifu, Aichi, Mie, Kinki, Chugoku, Shikoku, Kyushu and Okinawa. The price is ¥300.24 including tax.
The transparent cup contains 4 round satsumaimocchi pieces, each with a small protrusion on top. They are presented as a convenient snack-style cup deli consisting of banana custard wrapped in dough kneaded with steamed sweet potato.
SNS users expressed anticipation with comments such as “Looks delicious” and “I want to try it,” while some also said they wanted to add faces to the pieces. Satsumaimocchi was previously launched at selected stores in August 2025, with yellow sweet-potato filling in purple dough rather than the green version.
The product page describes it as a cup deli consisting of banana custard wrapped in chewy dough kneaded with steamed sweet potato. Further information, including a nationwide rollout, is awaited.
