オタフクソース has completed a new building at its Nikko Plant in Nikko City, Tochigi, with full-scale operations scheduled to begin in September 2026. Annual production capacity will increase to 15,000 kl, 1.8 times its previous level, strengthening the company’s supply network in the Kanto region. The company also plans to install solar panels in February 2027.
オタフクソース has constructed a new building at its Nikko Plant in Nikko City, Tochigi. The project rebuilt 1 of the plant’s 2 buildings and renovated the office building. Part of the existing building was also renovated, with full-scale operations scheduled to begin in September 2026.
New equipment, including fully automated BIB (bag-in-box) equipment, was installed as part of the new building project. By improving productivity and expanding the range of compatible containers, the company will increase annual production volume by up to approximately 1.8 times, to 15,000 kl.
The automation of equipment and optimization of the layout will reduce strenuous work and further improve employees’ working environment. As an additional environmental measure, solar panels are scheduled for installation in February 2027, with the aim of creating a plant that uses renewable energy.
