Nippon Cooking Machine announced that it had raised its previous fiscal year's ordinary profit forecast above its initial projection and expects to post a record high for the first time in 2 fiscal years. It also plans to substantially increase its year-end dividend to ¥75.
After the close on 22 October, Nippon Cooking Machine announced that it had raised its ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 from the previous forecast of ¥830 million to ¥1.36 billion. This represents a substantial increase from ¥900 million in the previous fiscal year, and the company is expected to post a record high for the first time in 2 fiscal years. The revised figures are expected to be on a non-consolidated basis.
For the second half, the company substantially raised its ordinary profit forecast for the April–September period from ¥320 million to ¥850 million. As the figure for the same period a year earlier was ¥360 million, the second half is also expected to deliver a substantial increase in profit.
Against the backdrop of strong results, the company announced plans to substantially raise its year-end dividend paid in a single payment from the previous plan of ¥45 to ¥75. The dividend for the previous fiscal year totaled ¥150 before the stock split.
