Howtelevision raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending January 2027, leaving revenue unchanged while raising the ranges for operating profit, ordinary profit and net income. It attributed the revisions to strong first-half performance and described a trend toward earlier activity in the fourth quarter.
Howtelevision revised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending January 2027. While leaving its previous revenue forecast unchanged at ¥3,100 million, it revised operating profit from ¥50 million to ¥100-200 million, ordinary profit from ¥38 million to ¥85-185 million, and net income attributable to owners of the parent from ¥27 million to ¥33-98 million, each in range format. Revenue was ¥2,558 million and operating profit was ¥251 million in the previous fiscal year.
The main reason for the revision is said to be strong performance during the first half, from February to July 2026. The company explained the seasonality of revenue. Previously concentrated in May-June and October, activity shifted to April-June and January in the previous fiscal year, while this fiscal year shows a further shift toward March-June and December-January, the fourth quarter.
For the second half, from August 2026 to January 2027, the impact of the earlier fourth-quarter activity and the final effect of cost reductions cannot currently be forecast accurately, resulting in a range disclosure based on conservative assumptions. The company says that further revisions to profit levels may be possible depending on performance from December 2026 to January 2027.
