Toshiba announced effective the same day that President Tsunakawa Satoshi (綱川智) and Executive Vice President Hatázawa Mamoru (畠沢守) would leave their posts, with Senior Managing Executive Officer Shimada Taro (島田太郎) becoming president and Yanase Goro (柳瀬悟郎) becoming executive vice president.
Toshiba formally announced that, effective 1 March 2022, its incumbent president, Tsunakawa Satoshi (綱川智), and executive vice president, Hatázawa Mamoru (畠沢守), would leave their posts. The president will change to Senior Managing Executive Officer Shimada Taro (島田太郎).
The personnel announcement made the same day also disclosed that the executive vice president would change to Yanase Goro (柳瀬悟郎), president of Toshiba Elevator.
This establishes Toshiba's new management structure, centered on President Shimada Taro (島田太郎) and Executive Vice President Yanase Goro (柳瀬悟郎).
