Crackshell announced that 『Heroes of Hammerwatch II』 now fully supports Japanese. The price has also been reduced from 2,300 yen to 920 yen in the Steam Autumn Sale, creating a more accessible experience for the Japanese market.
Crackshell announced that the roguelite action RPG 『Heroes of Hammerwatch II』 now fully supports Japanese. Players in Japan can now play with a Japanese-language UI and Japanese text.
Based on Hammerwatch II, the game adds roguelike elements as players explore forests and a dark-fantasy world, with a dark fortress that evolves with each attempt serving as its central challenge. Players upgrade their equipment and adapt to changing difficulty while reworking their builds.
The game also supports co-op play. While the previous title did not support Japanese, the current title has been broadly localized into Japanese, lowering the barrier to entry for users in Japan. One major change is that equipment is no longer a form of upgrade, while the treasure-hunting elements have been enhanced.
The game remains available on Steam and is also included in the Autumn Sale alongside its Japanese-language support. According to the official announcement, the price has been reduced from 2,300 yen to 920 yen.
