Canon Marketing Japan Inc. will exhibit at Construction Technology Exhibition 2026 Kanto, presenting ways to reduce labor requirements and improve safety in infrastructure inspection, monitoring, and site management using video technology, AI, and the cloud.
Canon Marketing Japan Inc. will exhibit at Construction Technology Exhibition 2026 Kanto, held on 20 and 21 October 2026 at Sunshine City Exhibition Hall. As the use of video technology is viewed as an important response to labor shortages amid a declining working-age population, the company will use live equipment and demonstrations to present solutions combining video technology with AI and the cloud.
The solutions on display include Inspection EYE for Infrastructure, which reduces labor requirements for infrastructure inspections such as bridges and tunnels through AI image analysis; the MS-510 ultra-high-sensitivity camera, which enables monitoring in dark locations; Security Alert, which uses cloud cameras and AI to monitor material storage areas; and SmartMat Cloud, which automates materials management with IoT scales. These solutions are intended to improve safety and efficiency at worksites through the use of video technology.
The booth is D-48. The exhibition will run from 10:00 to 17:00 on 20 October and from 10:00 to 16:00 on 21 October. The venue is Sunshine City Exhibition Hall B+C+D, and the event is hosted by The Nikkan Kensetsu Kogyo Shimbun. The company will present examples of how each solution, including new services, can be used and its initiatives to address challenges in the construction and infrastructure industries.
