Shiga Prefectural Police announced the appointment of Yoshida-kun from the anime “Secret Society Eagle Talon” and Yoshimoto entertainers Katsumi ❤ Sayuri as ambassadors to promote the Tokumamo campaign. The appointment ceremony was held at Shiga Prefectural Police Headquarters on 9 October, along with the premiere of an awareness video.
Shiga Prefectural Police designated the period of the Community Safety Campaign as the “Tokumamo Campaign Promotion Intensification Period” and appointed Yoshida-kun and Katsumi ❤ Sayuri as Tokumamo Campaign Ambassadors. At the appointment ceremony, appointment certificates were presented to both appointees, and Yoshida-kun urged people to “drive out the Tokuryu through everyone’s efforts.” The initiative was launched to raise awareness of crime prevention in the community, with the aim of strengthening promotion of the campaign.
As original awareness content, an anime featuring Yoshida-kun as a radio DJ was produced. Through exchanges with Katsumi ❤ Sayuri, it clearly explains the methods used in special fraud, social media-based investment and romance scams, and illegal “dark” jobs. A 60-second awareness video was premiered at the appointment ceremony. The anime is scheduled to air at all FamilyMart stores in Shiga Prefecture and on official police media.
Posters and flyers were also produced, with awareness materials aimed at eliminating Tokuryu fraud scheduled to be displayed and distributed throughout Shiga Prefecture. Related information is expected to be shared on the official Eagle Talon YouTube channel, the police's official social media accounts and the Shiga Prefectural Police website.
