Seibu Gas is running a campaign offering a gift to customers who contract to purchase an ultra-fine bubble water heater. The campaign highlights the ability to deliver ultra-fine bubble water throughout the home wherever hot water is supplied.
Seibu Gas Holdings announced that it will run a campaign offering a gift to customers who contract to purchase an ultra-fine bubble water heater from 7 September 2026 to 31 March 2027. The campaign proposes changing the way customers think about replacing a water heater, from “as long as hot water comes out” to “an opportunity to choose the quality of the water.”
Ultra-fine bubbles are tiny bubbles less than 1 micrometer in diameter. The company explains that a key feature is the ability to deliver hot water containing ultra-fine bubbles throughout the home, including kitchens and washrooms as well as bathrooms. It says that everyday use of hot water can help reduce cleaning needs and support skin and hair care.
The company explains that this can help address dirt around water fixtures through everyday use of hot water, with expected reductions in pink slime, limescale and bacteria that cause dirt, and can also help maintain drainpipes. Rather than adding special cleaning tasks, the campaign presents everyday hot water as a support for cleaning.
The price difference when upgrading to an ultra-fine bubble water heater is introduced as approximately ¥9.6 per day, calculated by dividing the standard price difference for the models listed on the dedicated website over 10 years. Actual prices vary depending on the terms and conditions.
