Mitsui Outlet Park Fukuoka Marinoa, a large-scale commercial facility with approximately 220 stores, will open on the former site of Marinoa City Fukuoka in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City. It is scheduled to open in April 2027, with construction expected to begin in November 2025 and completion expected in March 2027.
The facility will comprise an Outlet Building, with approximately 170 stores, and a Harbor Building, including an indoor area such as MARINOA GOURMET TOWN. A connecting bridge between the two buildings will enhance visitor circulation. Harbor Park, which overlooks the sea, will feature Grill Pia (BBQ) and the first-ever life-size statue of Monster Hunter characters.
The Harbor Building will feature Lopia, one of the largest supermarkets in Kyushu, as well as a new-format area. The first-floor MARINOA GOURMET TOWN will bring together popular local and nationwide restaurants, offering dining experiences across three areas: a food court, restaurants and cafés, and a food market. Construction will be carried out by Ohmoto Gumi, with basic design jointly undertaken by Tokyu Sekkei Consultants and Ohmoto Gumi, and operations managed by Mitsui Fudosan Commercial Management.
