BRP Japan has announced plans to introduce 7 Can-Am Spyder and Ryker models in Japan as 2027 models. The lineup comprises 4 Spyder models and 3 Ryker models, with Japanese introduction prices ranging from ¥1.87 million to ¥4.885 million. The specifications are expected to be comprehensively renewed, from the engine, exterior and suspension to equipment and accessories. BRP Japan says that the lineup and prices may change and that some models may not be introduced.
The Ryker series will center on the entry-level Ryker 900 ACE 6, powered by the newly designed ROTAX 900 ACE–6 engine. It produces 52 horsepower and reduces noise and vibration while maintaining acceleration performance comparable to that of the previous model. Exterior features include new body panels, signature lights and wheels with removable center caps, while a sculpted, stitched seat is used to improve comfort. The BRP GO! navigation system will support Android, and Spyder models will feature a 10.25-inch touchscreen display.
Thunder Motorcycles Japan has announced the new street tracker Thunder-FTS250. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder 249cc engine and has a dry weight of 127 kg. The motorcycle combines 18-inch front and rear tires, disc brakes with ABS and a 6-speed transmission, aiming to deliver both urban riding and dirt-road capability. It will be available in red and black, priced at ¥896,500 including tax, with a domestic annual sales target of 1,000 units. Reservations began on 25 August.
デイトナ has launched 11 dedicated parts in total, including new parts for the Honda CB400 SUPER FOUR E-Clutch. The lineup includes a fender eliminator kit and helmet holder, while the Cross Link Carrier and Multi Wing Carrier have a maximum load capacity of 5 kg. Engine protectors, Color PANEL and a standard-type engine protector are also available, expanding the options for cargo capacity, safety and appearance.
