PILLAR Corporation has obtained Kurumin certification under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children. The company was recognized for continuing initiatives covered by the certification after establishing systems to support balancing child-rearing and work.
PILLAR Corporation has obtained the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's Kurumin certification. This certification system recognizes companies whose action plans for supporting the balance between child-rearing and work have been formulated and implemented and that meet specified criteria, as certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.
The company's main initiatives include flexible working arrangements such as a flex-time system, efforts to maintain a 100% parental-leave uptake rate, reduced-hours work after parental leave, reduced-hours work for employees raising children through the third grade of elementary school, a cafeteria plan subsidizing nursery-school and babysitting costs, and an annual-leave stock system for childcare and nursing-care reasons.
The company also promotes men's participation in childcare, reporting that the male parental-leave uptake rate reached 88% in fiscal 2025. In addition, it has been continuously certified as a Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization since 2023 and says it will continue working to improve the workplace environment.
