WIZE subsidiary NINJIN launched the horse-racing training card game OshiUma Derby Blood 2 as an open beta on 30 October 2026. It can be played in a browser, with no app installation required. The launch campaign will run through 13 November, and sales of paid content are scheduled to begin on that date.
Players can choose a favorite from approximately 130,000 real racehorses, turn it into a card and train it. When registering for the first time, players receive 5 cards, 1 of which can be used to select a favorite horse by searching its name. Players can also select 1 of 224 Grade 1-winning Legend Horses born between 1970 and 1995 as their first horse.
Abilities and aptitudes are based on actual race records, and each horse develops as it gains experience in races. Trained horses run in 3D race footage and can compete in 3 race types: solo races, five-race matches and weekend graded races. The game also includes encyclopedia registration, pedigree and performance-record research, and information sharing and social interaction through the timeline.
The development team from the previous game, OshiUma Derby Blood, was involved in development. Producer yossy said the team wanted to provide a place for fans of the previous game to reunite.
